  • Zoe's poetry has been selected to appear in the anthology "Breathing Fire Two: Canada's New Poets" edited by Lorna Crozier and Patrick Lane, due out soon with Nightwood Editions.


  • Cover image of Geeks, Misfits and OutlawsMcGilligan Books releases hot new anthology celebrating the Outsider in "Geeks, Misfits and Outlaws" edited by Zoe Whittall.

  • Zoe now writes a regular column for the magazine Kiss Machine called Take Your Passion, Make It Happen, interviewing artists she admires and waxing on the topic of art and fame.

  • She has a short story forthcoming in the anthology Girls Who Bite Back edited by Emily Pohl-Weary with Sumach press.

  • Zoe is currently working on her freelance career writing arts reviews for the various magazines such as Motion, and The Toronto Women's Post, Now and Trade.

  • Brazen Femme: Transgressing Femme Identity has been nominated for a lambda literary award.

  • Self-Serve has been selected as Broken Pencil's Comic of the Month for their upcoming comic-dominated issue.

New at Tallulah's Cabaret:
  • Zoe continues to curate events at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre's Cabaret space with DJ Catscratch. She recently brought hot comic Elvira Kurt to the stage which made Now magazines Top Ten comedy events on 2003.

    The first Friday of the month is always High Femme Friday at Tallulah's cabaret. For just 5 dollars you can come out and appreciate femme gendered performance at the home of queer culture. Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. 12 Alexander. You can reach the box office at (416) 975-8555.
